Jim Langlois - Managing Partner

As one of the founders and the Managing Partner of Owl, Jim is the guy responsible for steering the boat, herding the cats, and balancing the checkbook.  His extensive experience in international business, product development and marketing and his willingness to eat almost any Chinese food also allows him to rack up a lot of frequent flier miles.

Jim has a passion for all two wheel travel.  He rides a Rocket Red Mega 150 and a GX road bike.

Bill Shields - Quality Guru

“Buddha Bill” is the voice of experience when it comes to Asian manufacturing, with more than 30 years spent traveling the globe in search of world class factories and managing multi-million dollar production programs.  His dedication to quality and his ability to inspire factories to set high standards makes him an invaluable member of our team.

Buddha Bill is also one of the founders of Owl and contributes from his Seattle office.  He will be driving an Astro Blue Mega 150 in January, 2010 when he moves to Ojai, California.

Charles Langlois - Logistics

Charles is our logistical wizard, relentlessly searching for the best deals in moving our scooters from the factory to the customer’s showroom. (He has the same passion for flea markets and yard sales.)  Charles is a founder and partner of Owl Scooter and also manages the day to day operations of our other international business.

Ryan Lewis - Creative

Ryan handles all aspects of marketing and design for Owl, using his love of social media and the scooter lifestyle to spread the word. Before joining the Owl team Ryan spent four years in the trenches of a daily newspaper advertising department. He has been running a record label and touring the US and abroad in various bands since his late teens.

Ryan rides a Night Owl Black Bolt and on occasion still gives his Honda Ruckus some love.

Aaron Luther - Operations

Aaron manages day to day operations at Owl Galactic HQ. If you have a question or issue, Aaron will likely handle it. Aaron has experience in a large number of different industries including, e-commerce, collectibles, music, publications, and, most notably, trophy building while in high school.

Aaron rides a Sonic Silver Bolt and a pair of Mission Roller Hockey skates.
